In raw water, are present decantable suspended particles, non decantable colloïdal particles and dissolved particles. To assist in the removal of colloïdal particles from water, we need to promote the aggregation of the suspended solids into particles large enough to settle or be removed. These larger particles are called flocs.

LMS France reagents are especially well adapted to water treatment in case of emergency. In tablet form, they are easy to dose, they are safe from humidity and packed in sturdy, waterproof tubes.

LMS France coagulants, ALUFLOC and FERUFLOC, promote destabilisation of colloïdal suspended particles. In the form of slow dissolving pastille they are placed in a coagulation chamber.

LMS France flocculants, CATIOFLOC and ANIOFLOC, promote the aggregation of destabilised particles to form larger flocs. In the form of slow dissoving pastille they are placed in a flocculation chamber.

 LMS France units are supplied with all the consumables for three to six months.
